Fabula de duobus fratribus
Aliquando vivebant duo fratres, Cornelius et Octavius. Erant filii patricii pecuniosi. Vivebant diu in pace, sed cum adoleverunt, pro hereditate certare inceperunt.
Aliquando Octavius Cornelium in ripam vocavit. Cum Cornelius advenit, Octavius eum in fluminem trusit. Sed Cornelius superavit et contra Octavianum poenam agitavit.
Una nocte cum Octavius in casa sua dormiebat, Cornelius arrepsit et eum interficit. Sic Cornelius hereditatem habuit.
Praeceptum: Si aliquem interficis, fac id bene!
Mese a két testvérről
Élt egyszer két testvér, Cornelius és Octavius. Egy jómódú patrícius fiai voltak. Sokáig békességben éltek, de mikor felnőttek, elkezdtek harcolni az örökségért.
Egyszer Octavius a folyóparthoz hívta Corneliust. Mikor Cornelius megérkezett, Octavius belökte őt a folyóba. Ám Cornelius életben maradt, és bosszút forralt Octavius ellen.

Tale of the two brothers
Once there were two brothers, Cornelius and Octavius. They were the sons of a wealthy patrician. They lived in peace for a long time, but when they grew up, they started fighting over the heritage.
One day Octavius called Cornelius to the river bank. When Cornelius had arrived, Octavius pushed him into the river. But Cornelius survived and was seeking revenge on Octavius.
One night when Octavius was asleep in his house, Cornelius sneaked in and killed him. Thus Cornelius got the heritage.
Lesson: If you kill someone, do it well!
